Lots to Do – including Taekwondo at Lakers !
Lakers is always on the look out for new activities for our members, so we were delighted when Rory Murphy volunteered to lead an all new Taekwondo class. Rory is a black belt in Taekwondo and has been an amazing influence on our members who have a huge respect for their new Sabom (Instructor). You can see from our pictures that our members are already a dab hand at certain moves, and are enjoying learning how to hold their moves and stances correctly.
Taekwondo is a sport with a long list of benefits including:

- Improved confidence and self-esteem
- Improved flexibility
- Improved agility and reflexes
- Improved concentration and focus
- Improved leadership skills
- Greater self-discipline & patience

Classes have only been running for a couple of weeks, and already the feedback from members and parents shows this new class as a resounding success. Thank you Rory for your support! and well done to all our members who are working hard at this fantastic new sport!
