Our annual Roundwood Run on September 9th around the beautiful Vartry Reservoir was an absolute hit! With an incredible turnout of 410 participants and 327 runners on the day, it warmed our hearts to see so many people come out to support Lakers. After the race, we fired up the BBQ for all entrants, volunteers, family members, and staff—it’s one of the highlights that keeps everyone coming back year after year!

A huge shoutout to Supervalu Castle Street Bray for sponsoring all the water, The Sports Room Wicklow for the 1st prize sponsorship, and Amphibian King for the 2nd prize sponsorship. We can’t wait to see what next year has in store!

Our Lakers AGM took place on September 16th in our stunning new hall! For many families, this was their first glimpse of the completed building, and it was a wonderful opportunity for our staff to showcase this space that has been over 20 years in the making.

We’re excited to announce that our hall has been named ‘The McCleary Hall’ in honor of our generous friends, Barry and Eibhlin McCleary, without whose support this project wouldn’t have come to life. Thank you!
