Lets Rock and Bowl

We’ve been having a ball at bowling!! A new addition for the summer program is bowling for our Under 18s on a Thursday afternoon! The class is run by Hannah with our incredible volunteers Claire, Emily and Ulrich there to help out down at Bray Bowl. It is our Under 18s class first time in Bray Bowl since it’s revamp in June and the new music speakers also gives the members the opportunity to have a bit of a song and dance between their turns. A bit of rocking and bowling is a great way to spend your Thursday afternoon! Our members have us bowled over!

The bowling skills have also seen a huge improvement over the last three weeks with strikes, spares and high scores all round. Between all these strikes and socializing some of our members have even come up with something to cheer on their friends! The “Get that strike” is by far the most popular chant each afternoon. Looking at the incredible scores that these guys have been getting – the chants seem to be working! Congrats to Katie and Emma who were our Bowling champions last week! Way to go girls!
