Lakers Annual Glendalough Walks are back!
Join us on Sunday October 16th for one of our 3 guided walks in the stunning surrounds of Glendalough.
Whether you are summiting the Spinc to see the deer rutting, and the panoramic views of the lakes and monastery, walking the secretive woodland trail back to the round tower, or taking a stroll around the lakeshore and along the boards, there is something fore everyone with Lakers Glendalough Walks. (To Summit up, you will have a great time!)
We have 3 beautiful walks to choose from all boasting generous scenery, a chance to immerse yourself in nature, and the opportunity to spot some natural wildlife; including deer, rabbits, pine martins, and squirrels. A Nature Trail Scavenger hunt sheet is also available for children (and those looking for something to keep them busy along the route). Walks range from easy (and wheelchair friendly) to tougher challenging hikes.
All walks are guided, and registration is free, but we ask all our walkers for a donation on the day, or for our walkers to raise some sponsorship for your walk.
All funds will help to fuel our buses which bring our members with special needs safely to and from their activities.
