After 20+ years of searching, we have secured a long-term lease on a premises in Bray. The location is perfect, it is close to bus routes and the dart station. While this is fantastic the 1970’s building needs a lot of upgrading to bring it up to standard and to ensure the future security of Lakers for years to come.
We are halfway to our building fund target which is a great tribute to our supporters over the years, however, we need a further €1m to complete the renovation work.
Wicklow is the Garden of Ireland and spring is a time of growth, so we are asking you to support our “Grow with Lakers” campaign. We need a lot of people to donate a small amount and to share the word of our fantastic campaign.

If you are involved with a school and are interested in raising money for Lakers, we would love to talk to you today about some simple ideas that the students will love, like a non-uniform day, a bake sale or a “green day”. Lakers has a small team of staff who are always happy share about the great work that goes on here, we could even arrange a basketball competition between the members and students!
