Walk A: Medium/Difficult, The Spinc: Hill Walk.

Glendalough Spinc Views
Lakers are delighted to be back offering our guided hillwalks this October!
Meeting at the Upper Lake car park, the group will walk up the steps to the waterfall and on to the Spinc with its spectacular views of the Lakes. We will then follow the board walks along the top, looking out for Rutting Deer as we go. We then go on to the zig zags, cross over the Glenealo river, up to the miners village and back down the Lakeside Walk to the carpark.
Distance/Duration 9 Km/approx. 3 / 3.5 hours
Start time 11.00, registration at 10.30am (good walking gear/ wet weather gear & packed lunch required).
All Hikers are asked to either make a donation to Lakers or raise funds through sponsorship for your walk. You can fundraise online here, or raise funds with the sponsorship card we will send you when you register.
All support from our walks will go towards fuelling & running our buses for the next year. Our buses transport our members to and from their activities, allowing them to return to sports and socialise safely.
