Christmas preparations were in full swing this week in Lakers. Our members were making their Christmas puddings in cookery class, beautiful smells of spices and fruit wafted up our hallways bringing us all back to fond Christmas memories. Niamh our Cookery Instructor introduced them all to a well known tradition where the pudding stirrer gets to make a magical (and very secret) Christmas Wish. Our members loved making wishes, and learning to to make their puddings. At the end of class they were full of pride knowing that it would be their pud that they will be tucking in to at the Lakers Christmas Dinner. Well done to all our pudding makers.
